What is Failover hosting? Well normally a website is hosted on one server, if that server or internet connection goes down for any reason so does your website. With Failover your website is hosted on two servers, on two different internet connections, in two different locations.

The website is then synchronised between the two servers so they are both always up to date. Then from a third location your main website is monitored and if a server fails it will automatically transfer to the backup server so your website is back up and running again in a matter of minutes rather than waiting for the fault to be rectified.
