Level 2 IT Support Technician

An excellent opportunity to further your IT career by joining our established Infinity support team. Job Role
Provide up to Level 2 desktop support via our CRM and telephone
Perform pro-active maintenance of IT infrastructure of over 200 clients
Monitor backup solutions

Personal Attributes Required:
Excellent telephone manner
Confident
Self-motivated
Passion for all things IT

Key IT Knowledge/Experience:
Minimum of 3 years working in an IT support role
Strong troubleshooting experience with Windows XP through to 10
Strong experience of troubleshooting Microsoft Outlook
Good knowledge of network troubleshooting and setup (TCP/IP)
Experience with firewalls, routers, access points and other network equipment
Working knowledge of mobile devices in the workplace (iPhones, email setup etc)
Experience with Backup technologies and troubleshooting them
Exposure to server technologies

Desirable but not essential:
Experience with Server hardware (specifically RAID technologies)
Knowledge of Windows Server, ideally Small Business Server
Virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V)
Blackberry software/hardware
Draytek Routers
Microsoft cloud services, eg: Office 365

 

Trainee IT Support Technician

A fantastic opportunity for someone to begin their IT career and become a member of the Infinity support team!

Key Skills:
The right candidate will be confident, a great communicator, organised, self-motivated and possess a passion for all things IT!

Whist previous job experience is not required, candidates will need a good knowledge of desktop computing and possess a knack for troubleshooting

Role:
Initially the primary role will be manage incidents created by our infrastructure management suite. This will involve troubleshooting problems, finding solutions to existing problems and suggesting ways of improving infrastructure to create a better experience for our customers.

The right candidate will then migrate into a full Level 1 Technical Support role. This demanding customer facing position will be part of our existing support team, providing customers with Technical Support in keeping with our current friendly, high standard
